Starting February 1, applicants for the PNP entrance and promotional exams scheduled on April 29, can access the On-Line Exam Application Scheduling System (OLEASS) of the National Police Commission (Napolcom).
Napolcom vice chair and executive officer Eduardo Escueta said the innovative project is the answer to the perennial problem of both civilian and police officers who have been bearing the long queues during the exam application period.
Under the new system, applicants are required to utilize the on-line system to request the Napolcom regional offices for their schedule on the filing of examination application after which they will personally appear only at the date assigned to them, with their printed on-line confirmation letter and other required documents.
The period for on-line scheduling is on February 1 to 13, while February 14 to March 16 is set for the filing of application.
Applicants for the PNP Entrance Exam and PNP Promotional Exam must bring the requirement when they go to regional offices.
The examination fees for the PNP promotional exam are P400 for the Police Officer Exam, P450 for Senior Police Officer exam, P500 for the Police Inspector exam and P600 for the Police Superintendent examination.
The applicants for the PNP entrance exam is required to wear plain white t-shirt (with or without collar) or white polo shirt, dark pants and shoes and a GOA Type B or patrol shirt are required of applicants for the PNP promotional exam.
Napolcom will not accept walk-in applicants who have not gone through the OLEASS.*PIA
