According to reports, Department of Public Works and Highways 6 Regional Director, Engr. Evelyn Barroso will leave Iloilo after her name and that of Rep. Jerry Trenas were dragged in the S.O.P controversy exposed by an anonymous letter-sender last month. The letter sender was said to be an insider of the department, so that person knows about their operations.

Barroso is said to go back to her hometown in Cotabato City and will be replaced by DPWH's former director Rolando Asis, a native of Iloilo City.
