SAN JOSE, Antique – There is a sufficient supply of basic goods in the market despite the slight adjustments in prices, according to the recent monitoring conducted by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in some establishments here.
The increase in prices, said DTI, is only of small percentage and covers processed milk and electrical and construction materials. It has been noted that cost of construction materials usually increase during summer due to more construction projects taking place taking advantage of the dry season.
DTI said the public should not worry because the supply of prime commodities is sufficient.
Meanwhile, DTI is conducting a seminar on Excellent Customer Service for store owners and interested consumers.
Overseas Filipino workers and their families can also take advantage of the Financial Literacy on OFWs training which starts today until Friday. This training will be assisted by International Labor Organization for migrant workers to brief participants on managing their resources during the peak of the OFW’s work and help them prepare fall back plans in case the OFW decides to stop working.*PIA
