KALIBO, Aklan -- An escapee of Navotas City Jail in January this year was recovered early morning last Sunday by combined elements of Aklan jail and police officers.

Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Sr. Insp. Benny Fredie Cobarde, warden of Aklan District Jail, disclosed that illegal drugs suspect Narciso Serafico Decipulo, alias "Maling", was arrested in his rented house at Poblacion New Washington here after reliable information on his whereabouts were confirmed.

A resident of Brgy. Daang Hari, Navotas City, Decipulo was staying in the said area with his common-law wife and children when cornered by a composite team of BJMP and Philippine National Police personnel based in town.

Subjected to physical examination and properly booked by the local police, the suspect is detained at the BJMP-controlled district jail in Brgy. Nalook here for jurisdictional disposition later.*
