Eight young ladies from the Province of Antique are vying for this year's Lin-ay kang San Jose de Buenavista Antique 2012 title.

The pageant is an annual beauty and brain search open for ladies 15 to 24 years old who were born in San Jose, Antique, whose parents are from Antique, or whose familial roots can be traced in San Jose.

The contest is one of the highlights of this year's Tiringbanay

Festival, an annual festival inspired by the homecoming and reunion

of San Josenhons in the summer and coincides with the town's fiesta.

The coronation will take place tonight, May 1 at the EBJ Gymnasium.*PR
