ROXAS CITY – The officials of Capiz Emmanuel Hospital and representatives of CEH Labor Union recently signed a five-year collective bargaining agreement to ensure a smooth and healthy relationship between the CEH and its employees.
Jessie Contreras, hospital administrator, said the CBA will give more benefits to the labor group members, such as increases in leave of credits and salary in the amount of P1,000 on staggered basis for five years, among others.
"We accepted the proposal because we are pro-workers as we are also worker who look for their welfare, thus this is the fastest signing of CBA ever," Contreras said
Contreras noted that CEH topped hospitals in Roxas City in terms of the number of patients admitted.
Moreover, CEH upgraded hospital equipment assures patients of reliable health services, Contreras added.
Amy Campus, president, CEH labor union, said that with the CBA, employees are encouraged to be productive and perform well in the jobs expected from them.
CEH has 295 regular employees.*
